We had a little time before a booked tour at Balvenie. Looking at the map, we decided to drive around a bit, and see if we could find the Glenfarclas Distillery. We were a bit early and found us selfs there just before opening.
The sweet lady at the visitor centre opened the store early for us, so we could have a look around. Sadly there was not enough time for a tour, so something to come back for. The whole location was covered in mist that morning and gave every thing a mystical look... They put an old still outside, that is one of the first things you see when arriving, so no mistake made that you are at a distillery.
We have to come back to this one, lovely location...
