The sun was out, the sky was bleu, flowers everywhere, scenic surroundings.... wow! Lovely location...


We were guided around by an man who used to work there in the stillhouse. This is the oldest operating distillery in the Highlands, and you can see the craft around you here. Sadly you also see the technology more and more and this has a big impact on the number of people working at the distillery.

We took a lovely tour around, and a tasting of three expressions, the Chivas Regal 12, Chivas Regal 18, and Strathisla Single Malt 12
