The Edradour Distillery

Edradour Distillery
Pitlochry, Perthshire
PH16 5JP, Scotland

The smallest and most picturesque distillery, located near Pitlochry. This was one of the biggest suprisses on our trip through Scotland. So pretty, small, beautiful....

We were not so familiar with The Edradour, but were pleasantly surprised. Lovely whisky's....!

Nice, and big shop, great people, and a great tour by a nice lady. A nice place with character, and shows the way of distilling in a traditional way...

Tradition you see everywhere at this distillery. Here they use a cast iron mash tun from the1910's and they use a Morton Refrigerator, what is no longer used in any Scottish distillery. This is used to cool the wort before distillation.
A place to certainly visit! And whisky to remember! When you can taste some of it, make sure you do! :-)
